Coogee Beach Faces Dry Summer

A couple have a quite moment at Coogee beach.

I was quite surprised to read today that Coogee beach and it's surrounding parks now have an alcohol ban imposed on them by Randwick council for the rest of the summer. The beach already had a limited 4 hours (12-4pm) where you could have a beer if you chose, but not after work if you are doing a 9-5 job.

Now I won't bore you with a rant or talk about Australia's alcohol issues. Instead I will just show you some pictures I took as I walked to Bronte for an orphans christmas with friends after spending Christmas day with my family.
