Locked Out

On 21 January 2014 the then Liberal Barry O'Farrell Government  announced a plan for the new lockout laws in the Sydney CBD to stop alcohol violence after two deaths.

The lockout laws were introduced in February 2014 and meant that no one could enter venues after 1:30am and last drinks would be served at 3am.

These photographs were taken on the 2nd night of the lockout laws after the Mardi Gras parade on Oxford Street.
