Seven Hundred Photos
As far as photographic events go, this is one of the most unique. The description on the Facebook event page sums it up quite well.
An exhibition like no other, Jesse Willesee’s SEVEN HUNDRED PHOTOS features seven artists, fashion designers and bands working together to transform the seven HOTEL ROOMS above Sydney’s iconic Darlo Bar into seven LIVE fashion photo shoots.
This year, the installations were not just put together, they were crafted with passion and creativity by Phoenix Keating, Alex Goddard, Laurel and Hector, Jesse Willesee, Kalindy Millions of We Were Warriors, Daniel Havas, Jim Shirlaw. Their fantastic rooms are a testament to their dedication. I would like to thank them all for their incredible work and to Jesse Willesee and Marta Jary who organize the event.
This is the second year that I have been, and on both years, this is what you see for most of the night. There were other 300 photographers there, so it ended up being very cramped, hot, and sweaty.
